NIIF, Digital Edge, AGP ink deal to build data centres

Digital Edge, headquartered in Singapore, is collaborating with the Na­tio­nal Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) and AGP DC InvestCo Private Limited to build a pan-Indian portfolio of hyperscale data centres. The first project of the partnership is a greenfield 300 MW hyperscale facility in Navi Mumbai with a potential $2 billion (Rs 16.33 billion) investment. The project is expected to be the largest data centre hub in the country, providing access to infrastructure such as power and fibre connectivity. The facilities constructed through the cooperation will operate under the brand name Digital Edge DC.
