HOEC resumes production of oil from D-1 well in MB/OSDSF/B80/2016 block

Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited (HOEC) has resumed the production of oil from the D-1 well of the MB/OSDSF/B80/2016 block. The D-1 well was closed for production in June 2022 due to a leakage. The block is spread over an area of 56 square km in western offshore. It was awarded under the first discovered small field bid round. HOEC is the operator of this field with 60 per cent participating interest while 40 per cent is held by Adbhoot Estates Private Limited.
