J M Baxi’s Visakha Container Freight Station has commissioned an electric empty container handler and a hybrid reach stacker, which uses electricity as the main source of energy. The introduction of the yard equipment will save fuel consumption by 115 kl per annum and reduce carbon emission by 219 tonnes per annum. With this initiative, J M Baxi is moving closer towards its environmental, social and governance commitments.
