Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority has signed a concession with Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal Private Limited a wholly owned unit of J M Baxi Ports & Logistics Limited on November 15, 2022. The 30 years concession has been given for upgrading, equipping, operating, maintaining and transferring the Shallow Water Berth (SWB) facility and newly constructed coastal berth, through public-private-partnership mode.
