Terminal 2 of the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), Bengaluru, was inaugurated on November 11, 2022. Phase 1 of the terminal was built at a cost of Rs 50 billion. The terminal is spread across 2,55,645 square metres. The targeted increase in passenger capacity is 0.05-0.06 billion as compared to the current 0.025 billion. KIA has also become the first airport to enable an ultra-fast 5G network launched by Bharti Airtel.
