The Jammu & Kashmir administration has inaugurated the Anantnag liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) bottling plant project. The project involved setting up a 12,000 metric tonne per annum bottling plant at Anantnag by Indian Oil Corporation Limited. It can supply 3,240 cylinders per day and will cater to the surge in LPG demand during the winter season.
