DMRC to conduct feasibility study for Indore-Ujjain MRTS

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is likely to soon conduct the feasibility study for the Indore-Ujjain mass rapid transit system (MRTS). The result of the study will determine the mode of transport, which is likely to be metro or rapid rail transit system. The Madhya Prade­sh government has sanctioned funds worth Rs 50 billion for the project. Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited aims to commence operations on the project in 2028.
