The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has approved the greenfield Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) with a project cost of Rs 4.93 billion to be set up under Ranjangaon Phase III, near Pune in Maharashtra. The EMC is expected to catalyse investments of over Rs 20 billion and generate employment for over 5,000 people.
