AAI is allocated land for the Warangal Airport runway extension project

The Telangana government has allocated 250 acres of land to AAI for the implementation of the Warangal airport runway extension project. About 700 acres of land has already been allocated by the state government for the same. The project involves the extension of the runway at Waran­gal airport in Mamnoor, Telangana. The GMR Group is expected to take up the construction of the project.
