Construction work on the 5.3 km long Pendhar-Central Park stretch of the Navi Mumbai Metro Rail Project (Corridor I, Phase I) has been completed. However, it has missed its August 15, 2022 inauguration deadline. The project involves the development of the metro rail network in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Phase I of the project encompasses development of an 11.1 km long metro rail network traversing from Belapur to Pendhar, covering 11 stations, at an investment of Rs 30.63 billion.
