Work completed for mechanisation of berth 14 project at New Mangalore Port

The mechanisation of the berth 14 project at New Mangalore port has been completed. The project involved mechanisation of berth 14 at the port in Karnataka on a design-build-finance-operate-transfer basis under PPP mode to handle containers and other clean cargos. It was taken up in two phases at an estimated cost of Rs 2.8 billion. Phase I entailed an investment of Rs 1.27 billion while Phase II entailed an investment of Rs 1.53 billion.
