The National Capital Region Transport Corporation conducted the test run of the train set for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut regional rapid transit system (RRTS) project on August 6, 2022 on depot tracks at Duhai, Ghaziabad. The project involves the development of an 82.15 km RRTS connecting the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh at an investment of Rs 302.74 billion.
