ONGC has signed a gas sale agreement with GAIL and Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL) to monetise natural gas from its upcoming gas well at Khubal, Tripura. According to the agreement, ONGC will supply 50,000 standard cubic metres per day (scmd) of gas to GAIL and AGCL and a total 100,000 scmd from its Khubal gas station. The Khubal gas station has a capacity to process 440,000 scmd of natural gas.
