Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has inaugurated an LPG bottling plant in Agartala, Tripura. The plant was set up at an investment of Rs 1.69 billion and has a rated capacity of 60,000 tonnes per annum. The plant has a capacity of bottling 17,000 cylinders per day, including domestic and commercial ones. In addition, it can store 1,350 tonnes in leak-proof mounded bullets of LPG. The plant will cater to all the eight districts of the state — West Tripura, South Tripura, North Tripura, Dhalai, Unakoti, Sepahijala, Gomati and Khowai.
