The central government inaugurated the Bundelkhand Six-Lane Expressway Project (NH-35/76, NH-91) on July 16, 2022. The project, being implemented by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority, involves the construction of a 296 km long six-lane expressway from Chitrakoot on National Highway (NH)-35/76 (chainage 266 km) and 3 km from Bharat Koop to 16 km east of Etawah-Bewar road on NH-91 at the Agra-Lucknow Expressway near Kudrail village of Etawah district in Jalaun, at an estimated cost of Rs 148.5 billion.
