The preliminary notification has been issued for the acquisition of 0.038 hectares of land in Kakkanad village for the Kochi Metro Rail Project Phase II. The project involves the development of a 11.17 km long metro rail network from the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium to infopark via Kakkanad as an extension of Phase I in the state of Kerala at an investment of Rs 19.57 billion.
