Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) intends to invest around Rs 310 billion towards the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas in India over the next three years that is, during 2022-25. The planned expenditure of Rs 310 billion is 150 per cent higher than its exploration expenditure of Rs 206 billion during 2019-20 to 2021-22. Furthermore, ONGC plans to collaborate with foreign majors and leverage their expertise to explore deep sea underwater reserves.
