The National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) is in advanced discussions to acquire a road project jointly owned by Ashoka Buildcon and Macquarie India. The project, located in Madhya Pradesh, is estimated at around Rs 10 billion. The ownership transfer of the Jaora-Nayagaon Toll Road Company, which operates the 120 km SH-31 Jaora-Nayagaon segment, is nearing completion (erstwhile NH-79). An Ashoka subsidiary owns 74 per cent of the Jaora-Nayagaon Toll Road Company while Macquarie India owns the remaining 26 per cent.
