Adani group in talks with SBI to raise Rs 120 billion loan to fund Ganga Expresswa

The Adani Group is in discussions with the State Bank of India (SBI) to raise approximately Rs 120 billion in long-term project loans for the construction of the Ganga Expressway, touted as the country’s longest and connecting Meerut in the northwest of Uttar Pradesh to Prayagraj in the state’s east. The loan, if finalised, can be offered in high single-digits, in the range of 7-9 per cent.
