The CERC has released the CERC (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2022. These regulations will be applicable to all grid-connected regional entities and other entities en-gaged in interstate purchase and sale of electricity. For secure and stable operation of the grid, every grid-connected regional entity will adhere to its schedule as per the grid code. Any deviation will be managed by the LDC as per ancillary services regulations, and the computation, charges and related matters in respect of such deviation will be dealt with as per these regulations.
