IOCL signs pact with APSEZ to expand crude oil volumes at Mundra Port

Adani Port and Special Economic Zone Limited has signed an agr­eement with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to augment IOCL’s crude oil volumes at Mundra port. After the expansion of IOCL’s existing crude oil tank farm at Mundra port, IOCL will be able to handle and blend an additional 10 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of crude oil. This expansion will complement IOCL’s expansion of the Panipat refinery in Haryana, the capacity of which is being raised by 66 per cent to 25 mtpa. The expansion will also increase its storage capacity from 720,000 kl to around 1.26 kl.
