International flights to and from India are set to resume fully from March 27, 2022. This comes two years after the country imposed a total ban on them to curb the spread of Covid-19 cases. However, flights to and from certain countries continued to operate during this period in limited capacities under bilateral air bubble agreements. India currently has such agreements with 37 countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and the US.
