International flights to and from India to resume from March 27, 2022

International flights to and from India are set to resume fully from March 27, 2022. This comes two years after the country imposed a total ban on them to curb the spread of Covid-19 cases. However, flights to and from cer­tain countries continued to operate during this period in limited capa­citi­es under bilateral air bubble agreements. India currently has such ag­re­e­ments with 37 countries, including Cana­da, France, Germany, Japan, Si­n­ga­­pore, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and the US.
