The Nagpur Municipal Corporations special purpose vehicle (SPV), Nagpur Smart and Sustainable Development Corporation Limited, has started the process to facilitate its first developmental project. It has floated an expression of interest for construction, operations and maintenance of a multipurpose multi-skill development centre in the proposed smart city area. Work to lay 52 km of roads, along with sewage lines street lights etc., was started in 2018, but has not yet been completed.
