NHAI plans another InvIT in January 2022 to raise Rs 30 billion

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is planning to raise Rs 30 billion through another infrastructure investment trust (InvIT), which is likely to come up for subscription in January 2022. This InvIT is likely to have a portfolio of two to three road projects for monetisation. The InvIT is part of the government’s plan to raise Rs 1.6 trillion by monetising close to 27,000 km of roads over the next four years under the National Monetisation Pipeline.
