ADB approved funds worth Rs 1,23 billion for implementation of Nokha water supply project

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved funds worth Rs 1.23 billion for the implementation of the Nokha water supply and sewerage project in Rajasthan. Currently, ADB has approved the detailed project re­port prepared by the Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP). The tenders are likely to be invited in January 2022. The project involves the construction of two STPs at Charkada and Mandia roads, laying of a 7.5 km sewer line, and construction of three groundwater reservoirs and pumping stations with an operations and maintenance period of 10 years. It will be implemented under RUIDP-IV.
