Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and NTPC Limited have signed an MoU to collaborate in the field of renewable energy and mutually explore opportunities for the supply of low-carbon captive power. The move is expected to help IOCL diversify from its core fossil fuel business by entering the renewable energy segment. The MoU will also enable the organisations to leverage their strengths to help the country meet its net-zero commitments.
