DoT forms a committee to devise a strategy for the commercialisation of 5G and 5Gi standards

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has reportedly formed a committee to prepare a strategy for the commercialisation and monetisation of 5G and locally developed 5Gi standards. The committee is entrusted with seeking inputs from stakeholders regarding both technologies by March 2022 and a further two years in the long term.
