The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) has launched a port mobile application, MyPortApp, at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (erstwhile Kolkata Port). The app provides all port details digitally and monitors operations virtually. In addition to this, MoPSW inaugurated a 1 MW solar plant at the Haldia Dock Complex, which will produce renewable energy for port operations.
