Petronet LNG has awarded a contract for constructing two liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks to L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering as part of a package under Phase III of the Dahej expansion project in Gujarat. The two LNG storage tanks will have a capacity of 170,000 cubic meters each. The contract, worth Rs 10-25 billion, was awarded on a lump sum turnkey basis following a competitive international bidding process.
