Adani Ports signs deal for Colombo Port’s west container terminal 1

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZL) has signed a deal with the Sri Lanka Ports Authority to develop and run Colombo Port’s west container terminal 1. Being the first-ever Indian port operator in Sri Lanka, APSEZL will have a 51 per cent stake in the terminal. The two local entities will hold 34 and 15 per cent stakes in the new joint project company, Colombo West International Terminal (Private) Limited, incorporated to implement the project.
