Waiver scheme for vessels using LNG at Gangavaram port

Gangavaram port is also offering a part waiver scheme for vessels using LNG as fuel at the port. The scheme is expected to meet the country’s goal for lower emissions under the green ports plan and will also encourage vessels to use LNG as fuel. As per the circular issued by the port, dated July 19, 2021, 50 per cent waiver for using LNG as fuel will be offered, based on certain criteria.
