The Deendayal Port Trust (DPT) has signed an agreement with Central Electronics Limited for the implementation of the radio frequency identification (RFID)-based access control system in the port. The development is a part of ease of doing business under the Port and Digital India initiative. The first gate automation is likely to be completed within three months and all automated gates will go live by December 2021.
