Alstom Transport India Limited has commenced manufacturing of rolling stock for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS project. The contract to design, build and deliver 210 train cars was awarded to the company in May 2020. The project involves the development of 82.15 km RRTS, connecting Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor in the states of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 302.74 billion.
