In 2021-22, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) constructed 2,284 km of national highways as of June 2021, compared to 1,823 km in April-June 2020. The award figure for April-June 2021 stands at 1,681 km, as against 1,658 km awarded in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
