H-Energy Private Limited on June 16, 2021 signed an MoU with Petrobangla to build a regasified liquefied natural gas pipeline under the Kanai Chatta-Shrirampur liquid natural gas (LNG) pipeline project. The project involves the laying of a 242 km long dedicated natural gas pipeline with a capacity of 19.2 mmscmd from Kanai Chatta in East Medinipur district to Shrirampur in Nadia district, further connecting to the Bangladesh border.
