Domestic flight capacity increases to 65 per cent of pre-Covid level

On July 5, 2021, the government allowed airlines to marginally increase the number of domestic flights from 50 per cent of the pre-Covid level to 65 per cent. The government, which had previously allowed airlines to go up to 80 per cent of total pre-Covid capacity of about 3,000 flights daily, had reduced it to 50 per cent starting from June 1, 2021.
