NHAI allocates Rs 14.17 billion for infrastructure development in Punjab

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has planned infrastructure development works worth Rs 14.17 billion in Punjab for the current fiscal. The annual plan for the state will cover a 295 km network of national highways. The south Malwa region will get the majority share of Rs 7.4 billion. However, the annual development plan has no spending provisions under the financial heads of road safety and environment.
