Vehant Technologies secures a contract from RailTel to install 100 AI-based cameras at railway stations

Vehant Technologies has secured a contract from RailTel to install 100 cameras at railway stations across the country. These cameras can recognise faces behind masks and thus help in identifying people not maintaining Covid-appropriate behaviour such as social distancing. As per the terms of the contract, cameras will be installed at the New Delhi railway station, Nizamuddin (Delhi), Prayagraj and Lucknow. Further, cameras installed at Raipur, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Mallapuram, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Thrissur and Kannur will be used to identify stolen vehicles by shortlisting vehicles based on colour and logo.
