Suspension of scheduled international passenger flights extends till May 31, 2021

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on April 30, 2021 that the Covid-19 induced suspension of scheduled international passenger flights has been extended till May 31, 2021. However, scheduled international flights may be allowed on selected routes by the concerned authority on a case-to-case basis. The DGCA has extended fare capping on domestic flights till May 31, 2021. The aviation authority has also limited the flight capacity of domestic flights at 80 per cent of pre-Covid levels till May 31, 2021.
