Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has completed the substructure works for bridge number 8 in connection with the Rishikesh-Karanprayag rail line project. The Rishikesh-Karanprayag rail line project involves laying of a 125.09 km long new railway line connecting Rishikesh, in the foothills of the Himalayas, to Karanprayag in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The project entails an investment of Rs 162.16 billion.
