NHAI exempts toll fee for oxygen tankers on national highways

To provide uninterrupted passage to tankers and containers carrying LMO across national highways, NHAI has exempted the user fee for such vehicles at toll plazas. Keeping in view the current unprecedented demand for medical oxygen across the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic, containers carrying LMO will be treated at par with other emergency vehicles such as ambulances for a period of two months or until further orders.
