APM Terminal Pipavav secures China-India Express service

In a notable development, APM Terminals Pipavav has secured the China-India Express service operated by Cosco/OOCL. The weekly service to Pipavav port will carry freights of all kind for import and export, connecting with the Far East region. The first vessel, MV Beijing, with a capacity of 9,500 twenty-foot equivalent units, started from Shanghai at the end of April 2021 and will call at the port by the end of May 2021. The service will connect the hinterlands of west and north India with Far East countries and provide connectivity to importers and exporters of northwest India. The service will also link Pipavav port through port calls with the Chinese ports of Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Nansha as well as the Port of Singapore, Port Klang of Malaysia and Nhava Sheva in Mumbai, India.
