Air India divestment process to be delayed by a few months

The secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, the nodal agency involved in the divestment process of Air India, has informed that the divestment process could be delayed by a few months due to the ongoing pandemic and also due to processes like the physical inspection of assets by potential bidders. The due diligence that is under way is quite a complex process.
