ONGC acquires 5 per cent stake in Indian Gas Exchange

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation has signed a share purchase and shareholders agreement with the Indian Gas Exchange (IGX) and the Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) to acquire a 5 per cent stake in the IGX. Earlier this year, the IEX announced strategic investments of 5 per cent each by Adani Total Gas, Torrent Gas, and GAIL (India) Limited in the IGX.
