NHAI raises Rs 6 billion more than the reserve price for TOT Bundle V

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has raised around Rs 6.4 billion more than the base price for the fifth round of its toll-operate-transfer auctions. The authority received bids worth Rs 22.62 billion, against a reserve price of Rs 16.21 crore. Adani Enterprises and DP Jain & Company Infrastructure emerged as the highest bidders in the auction, which was held in February 2021. The bundle was divided into two parts – 5A-1 and 5A-2. The reserve price for 5A-1 was Rs 8 billion, while that for 5A-2 was Rs 8.21 billion. Three companies, – Indian Highways Concessions Trust, Adani and DP Jain Infra – quoted higher than the reserve price. Adani Enterprises placed the highest bid at Rs 10.11 billion for 5A-1, while Nagpur-based DP Jain & Company bid Rs 12.51 billion for 5A-2.
