The Public Investment Board has approved implementation of the Kochi metro rail project Phase II. The project involves the development of 11.17 km long metro rail network from Jawaharlal Nehru stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad as an extension of Phase I in Kerala. The project will entail an investment of Rs 19.57 billion.
