Indian Railways’ total traffic revenue in 2020-21 (till December 2020) has declined by Rs 369.93 billion compared to the corresponding period in the previous year. Of this, Rs 327.69 billion is on account of a decline in the passenger revenue during the period under consideration. This decline is a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, the consequential lockdown and limited operation of passenger services.
