The Power Finance Corporation has increased its market borrowing limit for 2020-21 to Rs 1,180 billion from the earlier limit of Rs 900 billion. The company now plans to raise a maximum of Rs 830 billion from long-term borrowing, Rs 150 billion from long-term foreign currency borrowing, Rs 50 billion from short-term borrowing and Rs 150 billion from commercial papers. The increase in the borrowing limit aims to accommodate the moratorium granted to borrowers as per the RBI guidelines.
