IR launches freight portal

IR has launched the Freight Business Development Portal as a one-stop solution for the transportation of goods. The portal offers best freight services to consumers and is expected to improve the ease of doing business. The portal can be accessed by logging on to IR’s website. It is a first-of-its-kind dedicated freight portal, which aims to reduce costs for logistics providers, run customer-centric operations, ease thetransportation of goods and provide an online tracking facility. It has been designed to minimise the need for human interaction by replacing physical progress with online progress, keeping in mind the needs of existing as well as new customers.
