DoT has extended the unified licence issued to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for another 20 years. The licence has been approved with effect from February 29, 2020. Further, DoT has allowed BSNL to offer services in the Delhi and Mumbai metropolitan areas, after the latter submitted a bank guarantee worth Rs 2.5 billion.
